Dr. Kurt Piehler, is an Associate Professor of History at FSU, the director of “The Institute on WWII and the Human Experience”, and the author of “A Religious History of the American G.I. in World War II.” He’ll examine the Russia-Ukraine conflict through the lens of the second World War and shed light on why wars start, how they’re won, and the unique role religion plays in war.
